Little Wild Horse Canyon is a striking slot canyon located in Emery County, Utah, southwest of Green River near Goblin Valley State Park. Situated within the San Rafael Swell, this geological wonder features narrow passages carved over millions of years by flash floods eroding Navajo Sandstone. The canyon walls display vibrant shades of tan, orange, and red, creating an immersive environment for hikers. The trailhead is reached by car on the road to Goblin Valley State Park; there is no public transportation to the site.

The primary activity is hiking, which can be enjoyed as a short out-and-back trail or extended into an eight-mile loop by connecting with nearby Bell Canyon. The terrain consists primarily of sand and gravel, with sparse desert vegetation including pinyon-juniper woodland and saltbush. The area serves as a habitat for pronghorn and bighorn sheep.

Safety is paramount due to the risk of extreme flash floods. Hikers must always check local weather conditions before entering and carry ample water. While the canyon is accessible to non-technical visitors, navigating the full wilderness loop requires basic wayfinding skills. Spring and fall are the optimal seasons for visit, as summer heat and potential rain storms can complicate the experience.
