Halls Crossing offers a secluded gateway to Lake Powell, situated approximately 46 miles south of State Highway 95 via Route 276. This area serves as a quieter alternative to the busy tourist hub of Page, providing access to Glen Canyon National Recreation Area amenities, including a marina, lodging, and campgrounds.
The crossing itself features two adjacent campgrounds catering to different preferences. One site sits on a bluff with direct lake views but lacks utilities, while the other offers water and hookups without the scenic vista. Visitors can launch boats from the nearby ramp to explore the coves and canyons of Halls Creek Bay. Lake levels vary considerably from year to year, exposing tall bands of canyon wall when the water is low. The site remains a functional and scenic access point for those seeking a more isolated experience on the lake.
